Upgrading of York Street

Vela VKE George office was appointed on 26 September 2006 by the George Municipality for the Upgrading of York Street from the N2 Bridge to the railway bridge in George. The value for Phase 1 of the project was approximately R5 million and the completion of this project for Phase 1 was end of August 2008.

Upgrading of Sandkraal Road - Phase 1

The project comprises of  the upgrading and widening of a section of Sandkraal Road between Industrial Street and the N2 Interchange ramps. The site of the works falls within the jurisdiction of the George Municipality. This upgrading forms part of the George Mobility Strategy.
